Dee Dee's Cafe

Had breakfast here with my husband. It's really a good idea to have half price/order especially for those who can't eat much. The coffee is the best, not surprise they won an award. The cups displayed in the counter would be nice if they dust them. The inside restaurant so smoky, the ambience is dark. If they have less window and low ceiling would be nice to have good exhaust and bright lights

The place went from one of the best coffees in the area to one of the worst. Burnt milk (too hot) and definitely not steamed (no foam, just plain hot milk in flat white), under extracted espresso sour... I tried the place twice since the new owners, and I think that I will not do it again to myself. If you read this, please get training for your baristas.

My previous 5 star rating unfortunately no longer applies. I was a frequent patron since this place opened years ago, however recently the place has gone drastically down hill. The service is non existent, you are ignored while waiting to order. The staff are quite abrupt and unfriendly when they do get around to serving you. The coffee used to be amazing, now it tastes burnt and very unpleasant. The food serves are smaller, take longer to arrive and once they are dumped on your table, it's usually cold and of poor quality. I thought perhaps there were new staff and visited a few more times, hoping for improvements but I now understand it is new owners. The last time I came in, I was left standing at the counter for over 10 minutes without acknowledgement while a girl behind the counter was scrolling on her phone. When I asked of it would be much of a wait to order, she sighed and rolled her eyes and walked in to the kitchen, so I left. I will not be back.

Still the best! And so busy lately. The support small business just keeps growing, even better a family cafe. You can taste the love and care. Fresh food with a half serve option, friendly service by a family who genuinely care weather you enjoy your experiance. Great tasting coffee, three different strength roasted beans to try, didn't like the first one, try another and then the other. Local produce supporters including bacon from Morphett Vale Butcher, fruit and veg from Adelaide fresh, Adelaide hills full cream, skim and lactose free milk. Alternative milks: oat, almond, soy and you can't go past the home baked desserts!

Very good and caring staff and food obviously. I had a double patty burger which taste beyond I thought. The whole burger lot was on top with best taste and flavour. The new owners are very caring and loving. Will prefer to go with my family and friends again. The service was impeccable, with staff being attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommended it to anyone looking for the unforgettable dinning experience. 👌
